About the sessions

The SK Theatre Design Festival was created by an ad hoc group of Saskatchewan theatre designers in 2021 working in the areas of sound, lighting, costume, sets, projections, and props. The festival committee is dedicated to holding a design festival that provides opportunities for emerging and established theatre designers to explore the environment of stories on stage.

This is the 2nd annual festival and we are thrilled to be offering sessions in two of Saskatchewan's major centres, Saskatoon and Regina, as well as some sessions online. The festival will run from April 29-May 15. Please see the schedule below for individual events.
